"Gout and the Pain that accompanies It" How to get some relief
My first experience with gout was not myself but my husband. I didn't
understand the pain he was having or what to do about it. At the time I done some research and found that purine-rich food can trigger an attack. They are foods purines are chemicals found in such foods as
alcohol, seafood, and organ meat. most of the time they don't cause you any trouble but if you are prone to gout these foods can cause crystals to form. Here is where the pain starts. Uric acid is the main trouble maker. Crystal deposits are formed and the extremities such as the big toe are the easiest places for you blood to drop these deposits and they form needle like crystals that can cause great pain. My husband could not even stand for the weight of the sheets to be on his foot. It would swell and get all red. I thought he was just being a baby but anyone that has had it says that's not the case. Gout is a state of inflammation. It helps to drink lots of water and flush your body out. It also helps to cut down on saturated fats like the kind that comes in meat and dairy foods. Research that I done says it helps to ad fish oil to your diet. You really need to watch your diet so your kidneys can do there job . The pain is a end result of a breakdown process and means that your kidneys might not be doing there job. Another thing that we discovered is that something in cherries can reduce uric acid levels and help prevent a gout attack. We both have grown tired of popping a pill for whatever hurts us and have tried to go back to the natural cures. If you would like to read more on home remedies it can be found here.
