Learn Why Not Knowing How To Stop Armpit Sweating At Work Can Get You Fired And How You Can Stop It

Sweating is a normal body function that most people actually
enjoy after a good workout. Sweating is also your body's
mechanism of cooling itself down to keep the internal
temperature regulated to a normal 98.6 degrees.
But what happens when your body temperature is set at the
normal temperature and you're still sweating like crazy
under your armpits? Now we're looking at what's called
hyperhidrosis, the medical term for excessive sweating of
the underarms.
People who suffer from armpit sweating often suffer in their
personal lives with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety
issues, and they even shy away from social outings.
What most people don't see is how it affects you in the work
place. It's especially bad for those of you who are in an
environment where you could be around colleagues for 8-12
hours a day in an office setting.
If you find yourself changing shirts throughout the day or
wearing darker colors on a consistent basis to hide the
sweat stains then you need to take heed to how it may be
affecting your job performance. This may be a bigger problem
than you think.
According to the International Hyperhidrosis Society, a
recent study presented at the American Academy of
Dermatology Annual Meeting in San Francisco indicates that
employees suffering from hyperhidrosis "were limited in
performing physically demanding tasks 25% of the time, in
mental and interpersonal tasks 20% of the time, in time
management 17% of the time, and in work output 11% of the
time."
The study goes on to say that "these rates of workplace
limitations are similar to those experienced by workers
suffering from depression, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid
arthritis." The study estimated overall work productivity
loss due to hyperhidrosis is "4.9%."
The economic recession that we are currently experiencing is
forcing employers to crack down even further on their
employees. This means that if you're suffering from a 4.9%
loss in work productivity you could be making it easier for
your employer to give you the pink slip.
In tough times like these, you don't want to be guilty of a
4.9% loss in your work productivity. The affects of
excessive sweating can hinder your work output and
concentration.
Whether you have suffered with this condition for a number
of years or it has just come on, don't think that you have
to adopt the "this is just how it is" attitude.
You have a right to feel confident again and secure about
who you are. You have a right to increase your on the job
performance without wearing 3, 4, or 5 shirts to soak up all
the extra sweat. Believe it; you have the right to be cured.
Fortunately, there is a way to stop armpit sweating. The
process takes only 30 seconds a day using inexpensive
household items. The great thing about it is that it can be
implemented into your morning or nighttime routine. This is
a natural cure that lasts an entire lifetime without surgery
or medication. By getting yourself cured naturally, you'll
not only be able to regain confidence but also keep your job
performance at an optimum level.
Sweating is your body's mechanism to cool off and maintain a
normal temperature range but, hyperhidrosis is above and
beyond your body's normal mechanism. With the job market
being so tight, it pays to be able to combat excessive
underarm sweating. Don't let this silent enemy swindle you
out of a job. You can fight back with an all natural cure,
regain your confidence, and improve your job performance.
